Fatma, who comes to Beser Demirtaş´s house as a co-wife in return for a bull, is deaf; her husband Beser has difficulty in moving comfortably due to his deteriorating health. They have been displaced from their village as a result of the systematic state-enforced burning down and evacuation of villages in the ‘90s, and have settled in another village. Two co-wives who continue living together after their husband´s death, start to keep guard to protect the grass they bought for their cattle. After a while, the small square where the grass is piled turns into the meeting and sharing point of the village. Grass is a film on rat race, as well as desperate anticipation, and the monotony of daily life.
The cast and crew will be introducing the film on 11 APRIL THURSDAY, PERA, 21.30
