In the heart of the forest an ancient archaic human form re-enacts scenes from a ritual. It is a dream, or a nightmare. The story (if there is one) is woven with the fear, the sexuality and our animalism that mutes edgy nerves. The film follows a narrative structure of emotional intensity developing into nervous intensity. This distinctive narration drives the viewer to test the world of White Epilepsy from the depths of his own intimate experiences of fear and of desire. White Epilepsy is a partof Philippe Grandrieux´s three film-installation. Grandrieux is known for his feature films Sombre and A Lake.
