Born in 1983 in Muş. He started working as a photojournalist in 2003. He continued working as journalist during his studies at the Istanbul University Department of Ancient Greek Language and Literature. In 2006, he established Turkey's largest regional newspaper Şark Haber. Between 2007 and 2009, he worked as a reporter for StarTV and KanalD. In 2010 and 2011, he toured Turkey on a bicycle taking documentary photographs and later exhibited them. In 2004, he produced and presented the 30-episode documentary roadshow Yoldaki Haber for TRT. In 2005, he published the book Hayata Yolculuk. In 2007, he started to tour 54 African countries on a bicycle and started to shoot his 54-episode documentary series Journey to Dreams. In 2019, he made the documentary film Tenere which told the story of Africans crossing the Sahara Desert. Tenere premiered at the Los Angeles Pan African Film Festival, and had its European premiered at the Manchester Film Festival, later was screened at the Istanbul and Ankara film festivals. He is a member of the European Documentary Network (EDN), and is currently continuing working on documentaries in Africa.
