Alexandre, a firearms instructor at the Canadian customs college, is placed on compulsory leave for sexual addiction. He takes the opportunity to make a surprise visit to his mother, owner of a drag strip in a small town. As he forms a new friendship with a female Icelandic drag racer, he finds himself under surveillance by eager police officers investigating some sexually explicit drawings that have been troubling the town. Obviously identifiable in these drawings, Alexandre is now their prime suspect. Full of twists, fast cars, existential angst, and quirky humour, this dark tale had premiered at the New Directors section of the San Sebastian Film Festival. This very low budget film is the debut feature of multi-awarded short films director Philippe Grégoire, who had actually worked as customs officer at the Canada-USA border during his years as a student.
This film is screened with the generous support of the Embassy of Canada to Turkey.
This film was a Meetings on the Bridge participant.
