The sleepwalker Ziko is banished from his village because of a ’serious sin’ he committed in his sleep. When this decision is announced to the surrounding villages, he tries, under winter conditions, to reach the town through the villages whose inhabitants are waiting for him with hatred. But a deaf-mute hunter has to go to the town on the same day, by the same route.
