Women in Front and Behind the Camera
Come and explore the journeys of a selected group of Turkish and international women in the industry. This isn’t about any -ism; it's about having an honest and open conversation about their lives and professional experiences. How did they find or create their paths? How do they stay inspired? How do they adapt to changes and preserve their curiosity and drive? What keeps them awake at night? This session is a great opportunity for interaction, empowering the community, encouraging collaborations, increasing mentoring, and drawing inspiration.

How Can You Make the Industry Work for You?
Richie Mehta is a pioneer! After winning over 30 international awards and receiving 6 Genie nominations including Best Film, Director, and Adapted Screenplay for his first feature Amal (2007), Richie stepped into the television series world. He has recently released the 8-episode Amazon Prime drama series Poacher (2024), detailing India's biggest wildlife crime investigation. After years of writing, directing, and producing, Richie shifted from auteur cinema to television and realized there’s an important question to ask: How can you make the industry work for you?

Co-production and TV Series
Turkey ranks second in the world for TV series exports. There is a high demand for television content, as well as a demand for more "sophisticated" content for a broader audience. Could co-production be a solution for these demands? The Council of Europe has launched a three-year pilot program to support high-quality TV series produced internationally through co-production. It also aims to empower independent producers and foster new relationships. Three important names from Turkey and abroad will share their views and answer questions from the audience.

Speakers: Hasret Özcan (Inter Medya President), Artem Vasyliev (Producer), Selen Zafer Boztepe (Lawyer)
