A Special Meeting with Silky

This year the festival is bringing cinephiles Bilge Olgaç’s 1987 production Silky, restored by Atlas Prodüksiyon in cooperation with Zurich Sigorta. The screening of the film, co-written by Osman Şahin and Bilge Olgaç, will take place at 21:30 at Cinemaximum City’s Nişantaşı 7th Hall, with the participation of eminent actress Perihan Savaş, who brought into life the film’s main character İpekçe. The film follows the story of a woman based on identity and sense of belonging, and you should not miss it!

Award-winning cinematographer Gökhan Tiryaki who is also among the Jury of National Competition is meeting with cinephiles at a festival talk which will be moderated by film critic Nil Kural and take place at 16:00 at Yapı Kredi Kültür Sanat!
