The last day of the Meetings on the Bridge
The first of the event series that will go on all day at Yapı Kredi Kültür Sanat Loca is the panel titled “All You Need to Know About Eurimages” which will take place between 10:00 and 11:00 with the participation of the project coordinator of Eurimages, Francine Raveney, and Eurimages’ representative in Turkey, Zülfikar Kürüm. Producers with a fully developed project, looking for funding should not miss this talk after which documentary films will be discussed. The session called “Documentary: Road to the Festival” will take place between 11:00 and 12:30, and will be moderated by editor and director from Kamara Film, Eytan İpeker. Directors and producers Carlos Hagerman and Niek Koppen, and Hot Docs Industry Programmer Dorota Lech will come together to discuss documentary filmmaking’s effects on festival processes.
The panel titled “Editing: Creative Collaborations” will take place between 13:30 and 14:30, and Benjamin Mirguet from Momerade Films and Eytan İpeker from Kamara Film will discuss the relationship between the editor and the director in the creative process from the perspective of the editor, using real life examples.
The last of the day’s events is the session called “Drama Series: Big Ideas Small Screen” taking place between 16:00 and 17:00. The panel will be moderated by Yamaç Okur from Ay Yapım, and screenwriters Berkun Oya and Birol Güven, Torino Film Lab’s Director Eilon Ratzkovsky, and screenwriter and advisor Soni Jorgensen will be the participants. These brilliant minds that create the stories and the protagonists that become part of the lives of the audience will be sharing details of the writing and creation processes.
