Ekin Üzeltüzenci started her music career of over 20 years by playing the keyboard and vocals. Her albums recorded since 2017 under the alias "Ekin Fil" were published on vinyl, cassette tape, and digital in independent companies based in the UK, Sweden, and Germany. Parallel to her personal recordings, she has scored numerous short and feature-length films, including her first score for the feature film Kaygı / Inflame which won the Best Music Award in 2017 Turkish Film Critics' Association Awards, and Körfez / The Gulf which won Best Music at 2018 Frankfurt International Turkish Film Festival. She was granted the Bilge Olgaç Achievement Award in 2021 at the 34th Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival.
