Gladys Joujou is a film editor of Lebanese origin. Her work on fiction films has spanned large-scale Hollywood productions such as Oliver Stone’s Alexander, to French productions such as Jacques Doillon’s Raja, and independent films such as Ghassan Salhab’s Beyrouth Fantôme, Carlos Chahine’s Mother Valley, and Philippe Van Leeuw’s InSyriated… Most of the films she edited have been shown and awarded at festivals around the world. Her work on documentaries includes Raed Andoni’s Ghost Hunting, Suhaib Gasmelbari’s Talking About Trees, which won Special Prize of the Jury in Istanbul, Boubacar Sangaré’s A Golden Life, Rami Farah’s A Comedian in a Syrian Tragedy and Our Memory Belongs to Us, Nadine Naous' Chacun cherche sa Palestine, Khaled Jarrar's Notes on Displacement, Samaher Elqadi’s As I Want, Lina Soualem’s Their Algeria and Bye Bye Tiberias, Hind Meddeb’s Soudan, Retiens les Champs qui s’effondrent. Currently, she is working on Zahraa Ghandour’s Women of My Life. Gladys often works as a story consultant and editing tutor at international documentary workshops.
