The participants for this year’s BERLIN Artist-in-Residency (Berlin AiR) programme, funded by the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (MBB) and with applications from Türkiye processed through the Istanbul Film Festival's Meetings on the Bridge platform, have been selected. The filmmakers who will develop their new projects in Berlin are Cansu Baydar and Melik Kuru.
In Berlin, the filmmakers will have the opportunity to come together with professionals from the Berlin-Brandenburg film industry and build networks on a global scale.
Tailored mentorship and industry support for filmmakers
The working processes, specifically designed to address the individual and project-specific needs of the filmmakers (such as script consultancy, industry connections, etc.), will be organiszed and guided by the Nipkow Programm within the scope of Berlin AiR. With the financial support of Medienboard, the selected filmmakers will focus on their new projects for 3 months.
