Organised by the İKSV as part of the Istanbul Film Festival, Meetings on the Bridge co-production, training and networking platform, supported by Anadolu Efes as its main sponsor, is launching a new support award for young film producers in its 20th year. The award will support young film producers in taking their first steps in the industry.
‘Breaking into the Industry’ Mentorship Programme Participation Award
Meetings on the Bridge is delighted to announce the ‘Breaking into the Industry’ Mentorship Programme Participation Award for aspiring film producers from Türkiye, in collaboration with the İKSV Young Artist Fund’s International Mobility Support Programme and Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event. The mentorship programme, which the award grants participation in, will take place during the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in November 2025.
Producers between the ages of 18 and 40 who reside in Türkiye can apply by submitting a letter of intent. One selected producer will receive the award, providing the opportunity to attend the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and take part in the membership programme, building international contacts and gaining a solid foothold in the industry.
This workshop is aimed at young professionals at a turning point in their careers, preferably with 1-5 years production experience. It is open to independent producers as well as those still working in a large company or on set (in positions such as junior producer, production assistant, line producer, or assistant director) who want to tell their own stories and make their voices heard. Professionals from other areas of the film industry (such as actors, directors, or cinematographers) who want to transition into producing, as well as producer-director teams, are also welcome to apply. Residents of Türkiye between the ages of 18 and 40 are eligible.
The award covers round-trip airfare, accommodation, and festival accreditation.
