The German-Turkish Co-Production Development Fund has announced the projects it will support in 2026. The fund was established through a collaboration between Meetings on the Bridge, organised by the İstanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) as part of the Istanbul Film Festival, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein.

Established in 2011 to support feature-length co-productions between Türkiye and Germany, the German-Turkish Co-Production Development Fund received a record number of applications in its 16th year. Following the selection process, seven projects will receive grants totalling €121,000. Bringing together established and emerging filmmakers, the programme also benefits from the support of the İKSV Young Artist Fund.

The fund continues to foster collaboration between filmmakers from Türkiye and Germany, supporting the development of new projects and international co-productions. Since its establishment, it has provided a total of €1,342,000 in funding for German-Turkish co-production projects.
