Writer-director Onur Ünlü will be the president of the national competition jury of the 41st Istanbul Film Festival.

Writer-director Onur Ünlü will be the president of the national competition jury of the 41st Istanbul Film Festival which is to take place 8-19 April 2022. The grand prize of the National Competition is the Golden Tulip. The jury will determine the recipients of the 10 prizes of the National Competition. The festival will receive submissions from Turkey until 21 January 2022.

Sen Aydınlatırsın Geceyi / Thou Gild’st the Even directed by Onur Ünlü won the Golden Tulip for Best Film of the National Competition in 2013 along with the Best Screenplay, Best Editing awards, and the FIPRESCI Prize. Ünlü had won the Best Director award in 2014 with İtirazım Var / Let's Sin.

The jury president of the National Competition in 2021 was Tolga Karaçelik.
