Making the most influential, controversial, unforgettable films in film history, Ingmar Bergman is commemorated at this year’s festival with 9 of his film within the Bergman: 100 Years section.Head of the Bergman Center, Jannike Åhlunds with film critic and festival advisor Nil Kural will discuss the influence and the legacy of this legendary filmmaker, with the support of the Swedish Consulate General in Istanbul. Jannike Åhlunds is not only an “expert” on Bergman, but she is a scriptwriter and a film journalist, active in several fields in the industry, and a very well-known figure in the Swedish film world.
