Kenneth Branagh’s All is True is a portrait of William Shakespeare during the last three years of his life, as he leaves London and returns to his family in Stratford-upon-Avon. The year is 1613, and Shakespeare is acknowledged as the greatest writer of his age. But disaster strikes when his renowned Globe Theatre burns to the ground. Devastated, Shakespeare returns to his neglected family to recover from the loss of his son, and come to terms with his legacy as an artist. The great writer is played by Kenneth Branagh and as usual the cast features many celebrities including Ian McKellen and Judi Dench.
This film was a Meetings on the Bridge participant.
