Guatemalan director Jayro Bustamante’s second feature following Ixcanul, premiered at the Berlina within the panorama section. Telling the story of a family man who has fallen in love with another man, Tremors starts with the family learning about the affair, and the reactions led by the parents, wife and children, and the church he attends. Tremors emotionally explores the self-determination of an individual who is crushed between his faith, love, and family.
