Dovile’s life is shaken by her father’s death. But there is no time to mourn as she must urgently organize the funeral. Trying to make it perfect, worthy of her father's memory, Dovile takes care of every detail but finds herself in increasingly curious situations as her childhood memories chase her up. Director Dovile Sarutyte, who gave her name to the main character of the film, says she has taken off from the idea of how unpredictable is the reaction to a loved one's death: 'The most unexpected combinations of emotions are to be expected. The joy of a "successful" event overshadows her mourning, if only temporarily. This paradox is the dramatic axis of the story. Although the starting point of the movie is death, it’s a story about those who continue to live.'
