Brazil's submission to the Oscars is a heart-warming story of an impossible love in a men-oriented society. The film follows Daniel who has been suspended from active police work and is under internal investigation for violence. When Sara, his internet love affair in another city, stops answering his texts Daniel decides to search for her, starting on what is apparently a fool’s errand. This sentimental drama dressed up as a road movie drives from the chilly South to the scorching North of Brazil. 'If you open your mind, it's possible to love in another way,' says director Muritiba, one of the most talked-about of emerging talents in Brazil.
