An intense, humorous, warm movie, shot from a blind man’s perspective; an atypical action-thriller film about a man who has to go through hell to reach his loved one. Blind and disabled, confined to his wheelchair, the movie buff Jaakko obstinately refuses to see Titanic. He loves Sirpa, who lives far away. When Sirpa is overwhelmed by shocking news, Jaakko decides to go to her immediately. He just needs to rely on the help of five strangers in five places: from home to taxi, from taxi to station, from station to train, from train to taxi and finally from taxi to… her. Director Teemu Nikki, whose Armomurhaaja / Euthanizer intrigued audiences in 2017, cast his old friend Petri Poikolainen, who suffers from MS in the lead role of Jaakko.
This film was a Meetings on the Bridge participant.
