The Innocents is the second film written and directed by Eskil Vogt, who won the Golden Tulip at the Istanbul Film Festival in 2014 with Blind, and who has written many screenplays, especially with Joachim Trier, from Verdens verste menneske / The Worst Person in the World to Reprise. The Innocents made its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes 2021. The Innocents is a film for adults that promises a shocking journey into the secret world of children that takes place during the bright Nordic summer. Four children reveal their dark and mysterious powers when the adults aren’t looking and their innocent play leads to mysterious and creepy things happening.

This film is screened with the generous support of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ankara.

This film was a Meetings on the Bridge participant.
