A young couple that consists of Mazhar, a self made man, who works as a dermatologist in a state hospital where he feels suffocated witnessing the collapse of the city, and Ece, a passionate young woman free from the zeitgeist, love each other deeply. Yet they cause each other more pain than anyone else. They are both prisoners of their passions and all the sociocultural turmoil of present-day Istanbul, the third edge of their love triangle which never leaves them alone.
