2024 Berlin Documentary Award, Panorama Audience Award–Documentary

For half a decade, Basel Adra, a Palestinian activist, films his ancestral hometown of Masafer Yatta in the West Bank being destroyed by Israel’s military occupation. He builds an unlikely alliance with Yuval Abraham, an Israeli journalist from the other side who joins his fight. Most critical and vital with the ongoing destruction of Gaza, No Other Land documents the decades-long legal battle, brutal injustices, oppression, the destruction and the mass expulsion of the Masafer Yatta community. The only Palestinian film screened at the Berlinale, No Other Land is made by a Palestinian-Israeli collective that includes Basel Adra, Palestinian lawyer, journalist, activist, and filmmaker, and Yuval Abraham, an Israeli filmmaker and investigative journalist living in Jerusalem.

This film was a Meetings on the Bridge participant.
