Three young reporters get into a car for a reckless journey in wartime Afghanistan that will change their lives forever: Serge, a moralist and workaholic journalist; Paolo, a photographer as jovial as unconscious; and Claude, a coward Swiss typographer who improvises himself as a filmmaker. A year after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, against his better judgement, the anti-militarist Claude finds himself embarked by two intrepid reporters on a whirlwind tour of Afghanistan. Armed with a video camera bought at the Kabul bazaar, he follows them for two months on a risky and unintentionally hilarious journey.
