Having its world premiere at Venice Film Festival, 2073 combines hard-hitting and upsetting real footage of global catastrophes and injustices, interviews, and scenes of futuristic drama. Probing our recent past and current events, connecting the dots from 9/11 and the 2008 financial crisis to the rise of fascism, the dangers of surveillance, the wealth and power of Silicon Valley Tech Bros, and the world being at once on fire and under water, this intense film imagines what the future will look like. 2073 is true science fiction.
