Executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Escape follows a man who wants to give up his freedom and live in prison, and is willing to do anything to achieve it. N. is a broken man; something is wrong inside him. N. doesn’t feel able to take a single decision in his life. He just needs to stop having options. So when he decides that the solution to all his problems is living in jail, he does whatever it takes to make it happen. Premiering at San Sebastian, Escape is directed by Rodrigo Cortés and follows Buried, and Red Lights.
