Dramatic and deeply moving story of human connection that sustains its subtle smile, Ghostlight tells the story of a family overcoming grief through the transforming power of art and sharing. When melancholic construction worker Dan finds himself drifting from his wife and daughter, he discovers community and purpose in a local theatre’s production of Romeo and Juliet. But then the drama onstage starts to mirror his own life. Written and directed by the creative team behind Saint Frances (2020), Ghostlight was listed as one of the top 10 independent films of 2024 by the US National Board of Review. The film stars Keith Kupferer as Dan, his real-life wife, and daughter.
