Jan-Ole Gerster’s much anticipated latest feature premiered at the Berlinale at a special gala. The family-drama / neo-noir thriller follows Tom, the tennis coach at a luxurious hotel on the Canary Islands, who fills the time between lessons with alcohol and one-night stands ––a dream of endless summer. The arrival of the out of the ordinary Maguire family pulls Tom out of his normal routine and he strikes up a relationship with Anne, her husband Dave and their young son Anton. Until one night, Dave goes missing and the police investigation points to both Anne and Tom as suspects.
