Who is to blame when a second chance goes wrong the way of the first? Loveable follows Maria, who is wounded by her first marriage, and then meets a kind, handsome, dashing man, making her believe in love again. She struggles to balance parenthood and a demanding career while her second husband, a popular musician, frequently travels for work. As the strain of competing needs begins to take its toll, their marriage starts to unravel. Norwegian filmmaker Lilja Ingolfsdottir has written, directed, and edited her directorial debut feature. Loveable premiered in the main competition at Karlovy Vary, and Norwegian national broadcasting company NRK has announced it as Film of the Year.
