A dying palm tree, a doomed romance, and a mother who wants to move on... This will be Alkistis’ last summer on the Athenian Riviera. The sky is always blue here, but everyone seems to be in a state of transition. Young Alkistis is best friends with the tree, finds solace in her friend-father, while she tries to make sense of an ever-changing world and decaying coastline. A homage to the weekend home communities of his childhood, Orfeas Peretzis’ debut feature fiction film had its world premiere at São Paulo Film Festival.
