And imagine all this happening with you not having left your small town for years. Made in EU follows Iva, a seamstress in rural Bulgaria. Her story delivers a powerful and universal portrait of labour exploitation and the human cost of global inequities. Following Blaga’s Lessons, the latest film by acclaimed Bulgarian director Stefan Komandarev had its world premiere in Venice.
