Long-buriedwounds rise to the surface when iconic pop star Mother Mary reunites with herestranged best friend and former costume designer Sam after fleeing from hercomeback performance. It turns out, some feuds don’t fade away. Directed byDavid Lowery who describes it as ‘a pop thriller,’ the film stars Anne Hathawayas the titular Mother Mary (Lady Gaga meets Taylor Swift for some) and MichaelaCoel, who also is a lead in The Christophers, as Sam.
