Organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) as part of the Istanbul Film Festival with the support of Anadolu Efes, the Meetings on the Bridge co-production platform connects producers, directors, and screenwriters from Türkiye with international film professionals from 23 countries in its 20th year.
Meetings on the Bridge aims to support international collaborations and projects selected for Film Development Workshop, Work in Progress Platform, and Short Film Workshop will be presented to industry professionals, including international producers, sales agents, fund representatives, and festival programmers. One-on-one meetings with guests will also take place.
The film projects will be presented by AC Coppens — founder of The Catalysts, strategist, curator, and a speaker and moderator invited by some of the world’s leading festivals.
As Türkiye's first film market, Meetings on the Bridge will also host Cinema Talks with the participation of national and international experts. These sessions will be free and open to the public, focusing on current topics in the cinema industry.
This year, Meetings on the Bridge will take place from 15 to 17 April at Borusan Music House, HOPE Alkazar, Yapı Kredi Culture Center, and Atlas Cinema.
