Ali Vatansever

With a background in design and film production, Ali Vatansever is a filmmaker and a co-founder of Terminal Film, where he develops and directs films that explore human stories with depth and nuance. His latest feature, LifeLike (2025), premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. In addition to filmmaking, he serves as the creative lead for immersive XR experiences at TimeLooper, blending storytelling with cutting-edge technology. Trained in screenwriting mentorship at Sources2, he now mentors aspiring filmmakers and immersive artists through the m2 Film Lab and KARMA XR Lab, while also teaching Film Production and XR at Koç University.

Anna Maria Aslanoğlu

A graduate with a BA in Political Science and an MA in History, Anna Maria Aslanoğlu began her career as an assistant in various short and feature-length films. She is a co-founder of Istos Publishing & Film, established in 2012 in Istanbul. Her production credits include The Gulf (2017) and Yuva (2018) by Emre Yeksan, Phases of Matter by Deniz Tortum (2020), Zuhal by Nazlı Elif Durlu (2021), Otherwise in Istanbul by Didem Pekün (2024), and Tuesday (2015), Ela and Hilmi with Ali (2022), and The Greatest Funeral Hits (2025) by Ziya Demirel. A member of the EFA, ACE, and EAVE networks, she also provides production services and consultancy alongside her primary producing role.

His portfolio includes works by esteemed directors such as David Lynch, Martin Scorsese, Sofia Coppola, Wong Kar-wai, and Jane Campion. Vega notably contributed to the Oscar campaigns for Spanish nominees Esteban Crespo and Rodrigo Sorogoyen. His extensive client base spans producers, distributors, and international film festivals. Ariane Buhl

Ariane Buhl is a film industry executive with 15 years of experience in international promotion, sales, and festival strategy. During her tenure at Gaumont, she spearheaded the studio’s festival strategies and established its digital sales division, focusing on library management and curation. Since 2023, she has operated as an independent festival manager, designing and implementing tailored strategies for independent cinema. Through her work with The Right Ones, she has navigated over 130 festival selections for approximately 20 films, ranging from debut features to works by renowned directors.

Boris Pugnet
Marketing Consultant, Editor

Boris Pugnet began his career in market research and cinema management before serving as Head of Booking for CTV International, where he handled releases such as Bong Joon-ho’s Memories of Murder (2003). He later joined SND, the distribution branch of M6 Group, as Head of Creative Material, overseeing major blockbusters such as The Twilight Saga. As Head of Marketing at Le Pacte, he managed the campaigns for numerous Cannes-selected titles, including Ken Loach’s Palme d'Or winner I, Daniel Blake (2016), and works by Hirokazu Kore-eda and Jim Jarmusch. Currently, through his company Tiramisu, he provides marketing consultancy and trailer editing services across Europe for major distributors such as Pathé and Warner Bros. A dedicated educator, he also mentors at workshops like EAVE and First Cut+, and teaches at institutions including La Fémis and Sorbonne University.

Brigid O'Shea

Brigid O’Shea is the Executive Director of the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE) and a freelance consultant dedicated to helping filmmakers bring their projects to life and navigate toward the right goals. Christian de Schutter
Festival & Marketing Consultant

The creator of HYPE PARK, Christian De Schutter, began his career as a trade journalist for publications such as Screen International and Variety’s Moving Pictures. After serving as a press and industry executive at Film Fest Ghent, where he helped launch the World Soundtrack Awards, he was appointed manager of Flanders Image in 2003. For over two decades, he has played a pivotal role in elevating Belgian talent to international prominence, leading numerous Academy Award campaigns and festival strategies for major events such as Cannes, Berlin, and Sundance. He was instrumental in creating Location Flanders and CONNEXT, an annual showcase for Belgian productions. Currently, he serves as a consultant for the international sales house LevelK and is a member of the European Film Academy.

Jana Wolff

A graduate of Societal & Commercial Communications from the University of the Arts (UdK), Jana Wolff has been a key figure at the Berlinale and the European Film Market (EFM) since the late 1990s. Her extensive background includes serving as Head of PR & Festival Distribution at the DFFB and Head of Sales & Acquisitions at Pluto Film. Currently, she is the Head of Marketing at the EFM, where she also oversees the Country in Focus programme. Dedicated to fostering international collaboration, Jana regularly shares her expertise through pitch trainings and masterclasses, focusing on amplifying diverse cinematic voices and strengthening global industry connections.

Jukka-Pekka Laakso
Festival Director

Jukka-Pekka Laakso has served as the Festival Director of the Tampere Film Festival since 2002, where he oversees strategic planning and programming. A prominent figure in the international film community, he has participated in over 60 juries worldwide, including the Locarno, Edinburgh, and Morelia film festivals. He frequently mentors at Berlinale Talents and the European Film Academy’s “Sunday in the Country” program. In addition to his festival role, Laakso is the Executive Director of the Pirkanmaa Film Centre, which manages art-house cinemas and nationwide distribution in Finland. A member of the European Film Academy, he has contributed over 15 years of expertise to the Council of Cinema and the Arts Council of Finland.

Katarina Tomkova
Consultant, Producer

Katarina Tomkova served as an international promoter for the Slovak Film Institute between 2009 and 2015. Since transitioning to production, she has co-produced several acclaimed titles, including 5 October (2016), which premiered at IFFR, and Hotel Sunrise (2016), featured at IDFA and Hot Docs. Her portfolio includes Nina (2018), Silent Days (2019), and the Berlinale title Servants (2020). Notably, 107 Mothers (2021) won Best Screenplay at Venice Orizzonti, while Photophobia (2023) received the Europa Cinemas Label at Venice. Her recent work includes Chronicle (2025), which debuted at Visions du Réel, and the film Nepela (2025), which topped the Netflix charts in Slovakia upon its release. A Cannes Producer on the Move and EAVE graduate, she mentors at MIDPOINT and Thessaloniki’s Agora, and co-heads a production atelier at FAMU.

Marietta von Hausswolff von Baumgarten

A Swedish screenwriter and a world-renowned script consultant, Marietta von Hausswolff von Baumgarten has mentored for prestigious programs such as Sundance Labs, Torino Film Lab, and Biennale College Venice for the last 15 years. Her consulting credits include acclaimed titles like The Babadook (2014) and Costa Brava, Lebanon (2021). As a writer, she won the FIPRESCI Prize in Toronto for her feature Call Girl (2012) and was nominated for a European Film Award. Most recently, she wrote The Swedish Torpedo (2024), which was nominated for Best Screenplay at the Guldbagge Awards. Dedicated to developing original TV series and cinema, Marietta is a member of the European Film Academy and the co-founder of the Write Retreat.

Miguel Dias
Festival Director, Producer, Curator

Miguel Dias founded the Curtas Vila do Conde - International Film Festival in 1993, where he continues to lead as director and programmer. As the Director of Agência - Portuguese Short Film Agency, he spearheads the promotion and international distribution of Portuguese shorts and has produced several films under this banner. An active curator of contemporary cinema retrospectives, he also programs Portugal’s Short Film Day. Previously, he served as a producer for Porto 2001 – European Capital of Culture, where he managed film productions and launched the international documentary festival Odisseia Nas Imagens.

Müge Özen
Producer

Before moving to production, Müge Özen worked in film acquisitions for seven years. Since 2013, through her company Solis Film and as a managing partner of AC Film, she has produced award-winning arthouse titles and successful mainstream projects. Her producer credits include Radiogram (2017), The Antenna (2019), When I’m Done Dying (2020), winner of the Best Director award at Tallinn Black Nights, and The Funeral (2023). Since 2020, she has also been producing series for local digital platforms and Netflix. An EAVE graduate and co-founder of m2 Script Lab, Müge is an active consultant and industry speaker.

Renan Artukmaç

Renan Artukmaç is a producer and distributor who has collaborated with numerous international directors on award-winning films. His portfolio includes Sebastián Lelio’s Academy Award winner A Fantastic Woman (2017) and Berlinale winner Gloria (2013), as well as Pablo Larraín’s Academy Award nominee No (2012) and Golden Globe nominees Neruda (2016) and The Club (2015). He has also worked on Laurent Cantet’s Return to Ithaca (2014), Abel Ferrara’s Pasolini (2014), and Emmanuel Carrère’s Between Two Worlds (2021). In 2023, Artukmaç joined Cinefrance Studios, where he produced Academy Award winner Régis Wargnier’s La Réparation (2024).

Wouter Jansen
Sales Agent

Wouter Jansen is the founder of Square Eyes, a sales company specialising in outstanding non-mainstream films. After founding Some Shorts in 2013 and transitioning to Square Eyes in 2019, he has focused on representing bold, author-driven features and shorts. His bespoke distribution strategies have led to a curated catalogue of award-winning films at Cannes, Berlin, TIFF, and Locarno. Previously the head of programming at Go Short for ten editions, Wouter is an expert for Locarno Open Doors and First Cut Lab. A Berlinale Talents alumnus, he regularly lectures at institutions such as the Netherlands Film Academy and Le Fresnoy, while leading workshops at festivals including IDFA and True/False.

Zeynep Güzel
Producer, Consultant

Zeynep Güzel is a filmmaker and a senior consultant at the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE). She serves as a selection committee member for Berlinale Talents and the IDFA Bertha Fund, having previously led the Berlinale Talents Doc Station and Turkey’s Yeni Film Fund. Her expertise spans mentoring, curation, and moderation for prominent industry platforms such as Cannes Docs, DOK Leipzig, and the International Documentary Association (IDA). A member of the European Film Academy, Zeynep wrote, directed, and produced the feature documentary Come Rain or Shine (2019).
