Aslı Filiz
Producer

Aslı Filiz studied Political Science at Boğaziçi University and holds an MA in Serial Storytelling from IFS Cologne. An EAVE alumna, she has executive-produced festival-premiered films and produced original content for platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO Max. She continues to develop projects at Bir Film.

Denis Krupnov
Producer

Denis Krupnov is a producer and co-founder of Reason8 Films, a London-based sales and production company. Denis started at Lionsgate in Los Angeles in 2003 and moved to London in 2005. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a member of the European Film Academy.

Melanie Blocksdorf
Producer

Berlin-based producer Melanie Blocksdorf has produced and co-produced features and documentaries for the international market since 2015. An alumna of IFS Cologne, she joined Schiwago Film in 2023. Her credits include Gutland (2017), the Silver Bear-winning anti-war film Natural Light (2021), and the Cannes Grand Prix winner Compartment No. 6 (2021). Her documentary Misty – The Erroll Garner Story (2024) screened at numerous global festivals. Her latest feature, Karla (2025), won Best Screenplay and Best Director at Filmfest Munich, followed by the Audience Award and the FIPRESCI Prize at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and two Bavarian Film Awards. Blocksdorf is a member of the European Film Academy and WIFT Germany.

Tsveta Dobreva
Festival Director

Tsveta Dobreva was born in Bulgaria and studied cinema, management, and cultural project management in Germany and France. In Germany, she worked on major cultural initiatives, including RUHR.2010 – European Capital of Culture, before joining the Goethe-Institut in Paris in 2014, where she was responsible for European and international projects. She served as Deputy Director and Head of Programming at the Goethe-Institut in Marseille. In 2018, she joined FIDMarseille as General Secretary and a member of the FIDLab selection committee. In 2022, she was appointed Director of FIDMarseille.

Céline Roustan
Programmer / Curator

Céline has worked in many capacities in the film industry for a decade. Senior curator for the website Short of the Week, where she writes about shorts and coordinates industry initiatives. Her festival programming experience includes SXSW, TIFF ShortCuts, the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Aspen ShortsFest, the San Francisco, Dublin, Leeds International Film Festivals, and IDFA. After years as a programmer, she is now the director of programming of the Palm Springs ShortFest. She is also a coordinator at the SFC | Rendez-vous industry, the short-film industry event of the Festival de Cannes, the acquisitions lead at Ouat Media, a regular mentor for the Doha Film Institute, and a member of the selection committee of Agora Works in Progress.

Guillaume DE SEILLE
Producer

Guillaume de Seille studied Civil Engineering at INSA Lyon. After 10 years at Canal+ Cinema managing pre-sales and serving as Artistic Director for Canal+ and France 2, he became an independent producer in 2000. Through Arizona Films, he has co-produced and distributed over 60 arthouse features by foreign directors, invited to all major film festivals, released in France, and often broadcast on European channels, including Semih Kaplanoğlu, Pelin Esmer, Özcan Alper, Tayfun Pirselimoğlu, Selman Nacar, and Burak Çevik. He is an expert in platforms like Rotterdam Lab, B’Est, Ties that Bind, New Horizons Studio, Cannes Cinefondation Residency, Arras Days, and FEST Forward.

Rezan Yeşilbaş
Director / Producer

Rezan Yeşilbaş completed his BA in Cinema and Television at Marmara University, Istanbul, in 2008. In the same year, he wrote and directed The Judgement (2008), the first short film of his Trilogy of Women, which screened at numerous international film festivals and received several awards. The trilogy’s second film, Silent (2012), won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Selection. His debut feature, The Flying Meatball Maker (2025), premiered at the IFF Rotterdam and won Best Actor at the Istanbul Film Festival. His documentary Amedspor, currently in post-production, received post-production awards at Göteborg and Karlovy Vary.

Armağan Lale
Producer

Armağan Lale graduated from Yeditepe University, Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema. In 2013, she founded Filmada to build long-term collaborations with filmmakers committed to collective production practices. The films she has produced and co-produced have screened at major international festivals, including Berlinale, SXSW, Karlovy Vary, Sitges, Ann Arbor, RIDM, and DokuFest. Since 2023, she has been the Director of Başka Sinema, where she focuses on curation, theatrical strategies, and alternative distribution models. In 2022, she served as Co-Director of Antalya Film Forum. She is a board member of SE-YAP and a member of the Documentary Association of Europe and the European Film Academy.

Burcu Aykar
Director / Writer

Burcu Aykar graduated from the Psychology department of Boğaziçi University and got her MA in Film Studies at the University of Southampton. She worked as an editor at the magazine Sinema. She distributed arthouse films for two years. She was the editor-in-chief of Total Film Turkey. She co-wrote and co-directed two short films, Birth (2008) and Death (2009), with Uygar Şirin. She contributed to Altyazı as a film critic. Her short film, My Sister (2019), won the Best Short Film Award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, Turkish Film Critics Association Awards, and Akbank Short Film Festival. She is working on her feature film, As Shadows Fade, adapted from Cahide Birgül's novel, which won the Golden Orange at the Literary Adaptation Screenplay Competition.

Miguel Dias
Festival Director / Producer / Curator

Miguel Dias founded the Curtas Vila do Conde - International Film Festival in 1993, where he continues to lead as director and programmer. As the Director of Agência - Portuguese Short Film Agency, he spearheads the promotion and international distribution of Portuguese shorts and has produced several films under this banner. An active curator of contemporary cinema retrospectives, he also programs Portugal’s Short Film Day. Previously, he served as a producer for Porto 2001 – European Capital of Culture, where he managed film productions and launched the international documentary festival Odisseia Nas Imagens.

Rimantė Daugėlaitė
Festival Director / Producer

Rimantė Daugėlaitė is the co-founder and director of Lithuanian Shorts since 2012 and head of the Vilnius Short Film Festival since 2009. With over a decade in the audiovisual industry, she has coordinated numerous promotional projects and produced several short films in Lithuania. She serves as an expert for European and national cultural funds. An alumna of Berlinale Talents, MAIA Workshops, and Audiovisual Women Leadership, she is a member of the EWA Network and the European Film Academy. Daugėlaitė is a board member of the Lithuanian Film Culture Association, serves on the Lithuanian Film Council at the Ministry of Culture, and chairs the Regional Culture Council at the Lithuanian Council for Culture.
