The Cinema Awards recipients of the 38th Istanbul Film Festival to be held during April 5-16 have been announced.

Recipients of the Istanbul Film Festival Cinema Awards presented to distinguished individuals for their devotion and substantial contribution to the art of cinema have been announced. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Şerif Gören, the director of Yol which brought the “Palme d’Or” to Turkish Cinema. The 'Golden Boy' of Turkish Cinema, Göksel Arsoy, and the indispensable actress of the formidable female roles, Selda Alkor will receive the Honorary Cinema Awards. And the Outstanding Contribution to Cinema Award will go to academic and long-time member and official of the Turkish Cinematheque Jak Şalom.
