COMPANY PROFILE

Melodika is the first post-production company to give an award at the Istanbul Film Festival since 2010. Established in 1995, it worked on numerous feature films, dramas, documentaries and commercials, that has earned a nationwide reputation for audio excellence in post-production, location recording and voice casting.

Over the years, Melodika worked on various national and international projects including Skyfall, Matrix 4, Hot Skull, Ayla, Müslüm, 3 Maymun, After Sun, The Swimmers, Uncharted, John Wick 1-2-3, Hobbit Trilogy, Cem Karaca etc...

Melodika began its collaboration with Netflix with the full sound production of the first Turkish Production The Protector (Hakan Muhafız, 2018). Ever since, Melodika offered Location Recording and Sound Post Service on several Netflix, Amazon, WB, Sony and Paramount projects.

Recently, Melodika renovated all its studios, together with three new Dolby approved Atmos Mixing Stage and doing Dolby Atmos Music and Film Mixing.

The Mediterranean Film Institute (MFI) was established in the year 1998 aiming to develop an effective script & project development platform for European & International professionals from the film, series and documentary industries. This platform, MFI Script 2 Film Workshops, offers an intensive program for the script & project development of feature films, series & documentary projects and is funded by CREATIVE EUROPE / MEDIA since the year 2000 and the major institutions of the Greek Audiovisual Industry. It consists of 4 intensive sessions (2 residential and 2 online) in the Greek islands of Nisyros & Rhodes. It is one of the most successful training initiatives in the continent, with hundreds of alumni and a great number of films accomplished.

Transilvania Pitch Stop presents a selection of approximate 12 projects, coming from 1st and 2nd time directors from selected countries, currently in development and financing, to international film professionals (producers, distributors, sales agents, representatives from films funds etc.) through the industry event organized on June 1-2 in Cluj-Napoca, during the Transilvania International Film Festival, facilitating their international visibility and establishing the right connections to ensure financing for their projects.
