Renowned music video, commercial and feature film director, visionary artist Tarsem Singh returned behind the camera after an eight-year hiatus with his first film set in India that premiered at Toronto Film Festival. Following his acclaimed works The Cell, The Fall, Mirror Mirror and Emerald City; Dear Jassi chronicles a tragic romance that transcends time and space, ‘a love story, but with a grisly murder at its centre,’ inspired by a real life incident.

At this festival talk, Tarsem Singh will meet festival-goers, offering insights into the creative process behind Dear Jassi and his artistic motivations.
