THE 7th SHORT FILM WORKSHOP APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Submissions for the 2024 Short Film Workshop of Meetings on the Bridge, organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) as part of the Istanbul Film Festival, are now open. The deadline for applications is 22 February 2024.

The workshop will take place during the last week of March. The selected teams will be invited to attend the festival and participate in the panels, and networking events and discussions at Meetings on the Bridge.

Meetings on the Bridge, supported by Anadolu Efes, will be held on 24-25-26 April 2024.

The 7th Short Film Workshop is organised to support the filmmakers developing their first or second short.

The Short Film Workshop has been shedding light on the talents of the future since 2017. The workshop aims to draw attention to the importance of short films in the cinema industry and contribute to the increase in international productions.

Writers, directors and producers of 5 short film projects will be selected to develop their projects in a group work format with experienced directors, writers and producers. They will also have the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with international filmmakers during the festival. The workshop aims to encourage cooperation and communication among filmmakers and strengthen the community.

At the end of the workshop, the teams will have developed the discipline of producer-director work and will have prepared a professional presentation file of their projects together with the trainers.
